Srinagar, May 31: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday arrested four drug peddlers in two separate operations and recovered substantial quantity of narcotic substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that a police party from Police Post Sangam at a checkpoint established at Gund Baba Khalil, intercepted a vehicle (Santro) bearing registration number JK13A-5700 with two persons on board. During search of the vehicle, approximately 21 kilograms of raw narcotic material, including cannabis seeds were recovered. The accused have been identified as Mohd Ayoub Kumar, son of Habibullah Kumar, and Javid Ahmad Kumar, son of Gh Hassan Kumar, both residents of Waghama. Both have been arrested and vehicle used
